Video: Margrit Kennedy on interest

In this video, German money expert Margrit Kennedy shows the consequences of the phenomenon ‘interest’. Because producers have to pass on the costs of loans in the price, approximately 45% of the prices of products consist of interest. While the poorest 80 percent of Germans pay more interest than they receive each year, the richest 10 percent of Germans receive more interest than they pay. Kennedy calls this a solid and hidden system of redistribution.
